This past Sunday we had an unbeleivable worship concert in Pittsfield at the boys and girls club. There were over 1200 people in attendance and the crowd was amazing. Vicky Beeching, Rebecca St. James and Delirious? were awesome and I was amazed at the crossrange of people who came. There was a 4 week old baby all the way up to a 92 year old woman. Up front there were people of every age with their hands up worshiping God together. Even during Delirious? there were all sorts of people jumping like crazy. It was Awesome!!
We also got to have our Jamaica Missions table up at the concert and added many new names to our newsletter mailing list. Steve and I also got to talk to a lot of people about our trip. One girl in particular stands out to me as she and her sister are going on a missions trip to Jamaica to a school for the deaf this summer. Her name is Madeline and she is in our prayers. I beleive that God can do amazing things in the lives of people who are willing to step out on faith and do something for Him that is outside of their comfort zone!!
I want to say thank you to Matthew and Tara Sposato for all of their hard work, sacrifice and love. They worked so hard to make this event possible and we are praying that God would bless them for their commitment to Him. It was an awesome event and we are truly blessed to have friends like them in our lives.
